The history in making Digital Jukebox

What is JukeBox
JukeBox known as MusicBox in olden days and Digital JukeBox these days were made-up of wood, beautifully decorated and designed, with a size of a wardrobe. The jukebox was a musical instrument that plays on insertion of a coin; anyone who wishes to listen to the music could insert a coin and play a song from the list. Due to its popularity many restaurant chain had installed jukebox at their premises which were enjoyed by people coming for dining. It had become a very popular and attractive instrument in restaurants.
History
Music lovers always seek for their best music at easy reach. Places like juke joint were a spot for dancing, and the jukebox provided the music. By 1927, The Automatic Music Instrument Company created the world's first electrically amplified multi selection phonograph. With this amplification, suddenly the Jukebox could compete with a large orchestra, for the cost of a nickel. The juke box was placed in restaurants and dining areas to attract people where a music lover could insert a coin and listen to their favorite music. Till early 1900s 3/4 of all record sales went into jukebox.  Then was the juke box and now media players and itunes whereby a music lover can listen to any kind of music and store it in GBs, this means 1000s of songs and videos could be save in small device.
Company involve and their products
Jukebox popularity rose to the peak in the 1960’s and companies started manufacturing and  making it more modernized and sophisticated. First JukeBox was made by AMI (Automated Musical Instrument), they came up with new wooden design with festive mood after WWII, and next design of JukeBox was made bubbly by Wurlitzer and finally Rock olla model in 1950.
Next Generation Technology
In early 90’s there was a complete new business model for jukebox with the launch of PC. There were many companies offering JukeBox on PC or made it stylish by embedding small micro-chip into it. Today there are mobile phone companies offering the most modern form of jukebox whereby a list of songs in different languages are stored and a user can select, download and listen to his favorite music anywhere, anytime. Today's jukebox now has a high-speed internet connection that enables users to download certain songs that might not already be in the song library. The song libraries also hold a larger amount of songs, with capacity going up to 100,000 tunes in most cases. The amount of songs that you can have on one of these digital boxes compared to the amount on a CD jukebox is the main reason companies switched over to these downloading jukeboxes.
