Vibration Pads Set
Why do I feel a vibration when I am driving straight or turning left?
I have a 2001 GMC Jimmy 4x4. I recently changed all four sets of brake pads and had the rotors turned. Now, after I put my new brake pads back on I feel a vibration as I drive straight or turn left. There is no vibration when I turn right or when I brake. I thought it may have been a brake pad holding onto my rotor but I have taken the front ones off and on about three times to inspect everything. I don't see anything else that binds with anything to cause this vibration feeling. I thought maybe it could be my bearings at my differential from my half shafts but, something is telling me no because it never happened until I changed my brakes. Also, there isn't a bumby ride at all it's just that we can feel the vibration on the floor panel as I increase speed. Can someone please give me another answer to my conflict?
maybe one of your rotors is warped maybe a wheel out of balance maybe a sticky caliper.does it do it all the time or only after a fair drive if only after a fair drive suspect a rotor that when it gets warm is warping.
