Sony Handycam DCR-HC35E - problems transferring from camcorder to pc to disc!?
Hi, just got the above camcorder model and having LOADS of problems!
I have downloaded the software, but when running software says i need Macromedia Flash Player, which i installed from Adobe but still doesn't work!
Have managed to transfer video straight onto VCD using usb streaming but only .dat files are written with no audio sound and it took about an hour to transfer 10mins of recorded info.
Can anyone help with this... please?
(i am having a baby soon and really want the camcorder for recording those 'special' moments!)
I don't know how people think that telling us the name and model of their cam would instantly equate with us knowing whether it is a dvd, mini-dv or hard disk cam. I can remember a few names and models but there are so many......
I had to look yours up to answer. You have a mini-dv cam and you need to capture your video using the firewire cable that came with it and some capture software. Win XP comes with Movie Maker which will capture but not write. I recommend Nero 6, it is affordable, captures/edits/writes. Less than $20 on ebay. If you don't have a firewire card in your pc those are also under $20 on ebay.
