How can i convert MPEG-2 TS files so that they can be put onto DVDs and played in a DVD player?

I have a TV that can record programs onto USB. It then saves the file in a MPEG-2 TS file that cannot play on my computer or any other device except my TV. I want to put the films onto DVD so that they can play in me DVD player. I have already tried AVC converter and Aiseesoft TS converter and neither work properly. I was wondering if anyone has any idea how or what program I can use so that the whole video is converted with sound and so that it works on a DVD player. Thanks.
