I have Reason 4 and need to record vocals with auto-tune effects! Help!?
I have this USB mic: http://www.pssl.com/!9mvxKdtWiTjmPQ6xYmY-dw!/Samson-Q1U-Dynamic-USB-Microphone-s , Well it looks like that but is black, got it from a friend.
I looked into Pro Tools for voice recording but it seems I need special hardware. I only have a built in sound card. Also I have this but not sure if its useful at all...

What should I do?
you should be able to download audacity and record vocals.
as far as 'auto-tune' you'd have to buy the program, Antares Auto-tune. the free stuff you can get doesn't work nearly as well as the real thing. however in my opinion, if you can't sing don't. t-pain is a shame to the industry.

Un55B7000 Samsung - Omg!
First, let me say, this is not my first big screen HDTV. In reality, this is the replacement of a 62-inch DLP. So I did not expect to be WOW'd by this TV ... but I was. I have one way to compare DLP and LCD side by side - the DLP is dead. But I do not recall the image of DLP to be as clear and vivid as this image. The DLP is able to display 1080i/720p which is about as good as you're going to get from digital broadcasts. But in DVD with a lower resolution, the image looks more realistic.
There was a series of other expectations that I had. Some of them have been met, if not some, some have been exceeded. Me go into details of each.
1) Setup: I expect to assemble something. But the unit was shipped in a box large enough to be completely assembled. I suppose that if you intend to mount on your wall, which was to dismantle the stand. For myself, I wanted to have it sitting on its stand.
2) Swivel base: I did not expect that the base would allow you to rotate sideways. Because the TV is so thin and put it in a place that used to be occupied by a DLP 17-inch thick, there is plenty of room for the TV to turn so you can sit on one side of the room or the other and still be fresh on site. Which is probably not a big problem for those who buy the TV for its depth 1.6inch.
3) Connections: I was disappointed in many ways. The information contained in the Amazon has shown this TV has 2 RF inputs. Has only 1. My DLP had 2 RF inputs so you can connect my cable to one, and the antenna to the other. In my area, with a moderate antenna size, can collect about 50 HD channels out-of-the-Air. My cable company retransmits only about 15 of these digital signals, and periodically changes the channel to stay up.
In an attempt to make the TV very thin, seems to have given little room for the connectors of high quality. I had to remove the boot from my CAT6 (network) cable. I had to shave one side of the boot of my RG6 (RF) cable. Without these changes, I could not use the cables.
In an era of high-speed Internet, I would have expected the connection to be a GigE network, but seems to be only 100BT. While 100BT is theoretically sufficient for streaming media even higher resolution for TV, my media servers, receivers, and all PCs have GigE. When I switched to a GigE switch, I noticed a significant difference in visual experience. GigE chipset would probably add only about $ 30 to the price of the TV - not a big deal.
However, I was very impressed with the ability of this TV to be a monitor on my my laptop. I plugged in the VGA connection and was surprised to get a resolution of 1920x1080.
4) Yahoo Widgets: E 'certainly a clear idea to be able to view some information on screen, but the available widgets are insignificant. You can get most of this information on your phone without interfering with your experience of watching TV.
For about 3 years, I tried a way to watch YouTube videos on my HDTV. The YouTube widget leaves much to be desired. As I say .... there is no way to associate the widget with your YouTube account so that you can subscribe to channels, favorite brand, create playlists, or view your history. The picture quality seems to be better than I expected and it seems that you select the RSS HQ where available. Even the attempt to find it is rather difficult, because the onscreen keyboard is the worst I've ever used. The keyboard is not to the head from side to side or upside down. If you're on the button at the top right, and the next key is in the lower left, you must move out of a million keys to get what you need. In its current state, the widget YouTube is pointless.
5) DLNA: Very disappointing. Have 3 media servers that are different implementations of the DLNA (non) standard. I mean I used to receive that interact with DLNA servers have a variety of defects, but this TV is probably the worst of them. And slowly bring the lists of available content, and tends to refuse to play content from simple, or not play properly. I was hoping to replace the media receiver connected to my DLP, but I'm not able to because it's faster, better support for the DLNA server, as well as supporting SMB. If the TV can not do DLNA well, perhaps Samsung should consider supporting SMB instead (this TV is not).
6) Anynet + : This works much better than I expected. I bought a Samsung BD player with this TV. There are a couple of things I can not do with the BD player, except with his remote control, but for the most part, the experience is seamless. It would be nice to have a button on the remote BD - there is a TV button.
7) Image: Based on reviews I had read elsewhere, and here, I expected to have problems with various aspects of the framework. I had no light "spot" or "dark corner" the problems that people have reported. This TV has amazing shadows, dazzling, and colors. If you have the ability to watch Survivor on TV this .... Do it! Some scenes are breathtaking.
I noticed that the image seems "too good". The high contrast, clear details and smoothing motion tends to make the image too good. It's a bit 'disturbing. I had to adjust some settings on image to add a small imperfection.
Glare: I expected to see a remarkable reflection on the glossy screen. With the DLP during dark scenes I could see my reflection watching me. With this screen, I see that reflection. In fact, I see no reflection. I did not understand why, that would be - it is a glossy screen.
9) Media player USB: I am impressed by the fact that this TV is able to play so many formats. The media have in some strange format that I had difficulty playing - even in Windows Media Player. This TV is able to play them. But I am disappointed that it is not able to play VOB files from USB. DLNA will be played with the player, so I would think they should pay them from a USB stick. But it is not.
I compared this TV with the 8000, and 8500 in size. When the TV is sitting side by side, is 5 feet away, and looking for specific differences, we can see these differences as clear as the sun. When you watch TV by themselves, or if you are in reality the vision of a movement or performance, it is difficult to pick up the flaws / differences. Even watching the same feed with them side-by-side, I could not justify spending hundreds of $ $ more for improvements to the small 8000 or 8500.
Rereading, my review sounds very negative. But I am very happy with this TV. It is much better than the DLP is the replacement, in both image quality and functionality.
