Two Pathe
I am working in a office there it is five computers?
Dear all
I am working in a office there are five computers. One computer is in office upside there is a Dlink switch(10/100 Mbps). In that computer( Upside) IP Adress is 192.168.0.68, subnet mask is 255.255.255.0. Default Gateway is 192.168.1.11. IN down side 4 computer there also another same switch(DLink).Two switch are also interconnected.The problem is SOME TIME i can't access the upside computer. when i try to access the upside computer i get a message the message is " The network pathe was not fount". Please help me to solve this trouble. All computer are running in WINDOWS XP Professional SP2. Please help me.

Upside computer has wrong address/subnet mask. It will only talk to 192.168.0.x subnet. It's gateway of 192.168.1.11 - it will not know how to get there!
Someone did not configure the network properly... A gateway has to be in the same subnet as the computer/netmask specifies. Either the upside machine should be in the 192.168.1.1 subnet, or it's netmask should be 255.255.254.0. However, if these are regular routers (box store types), all netmasks are usually 255.255.255.0 and cannot be something else...
