Turntables Technics 1200 Are the Technic 1200's still the turntable for the professional?
Wrong category... check out "Performing Arts". That being said, I think there are still plenty of 1200s out there in use mostly by DJs. Several other companies like Numark and Gemini have made lower-cost knock-offs of the 1200, and they are selling tons of these copies. But the 1200 is still a very good machine for that type of work. Not the best-sounding turntable in the world by a long shot, but for DJ work it has the right features and durability.
