Turntable Quiet
Turntable to Speakers grounding?
Just recently got a turntable as a gift from somebody who wasn't using it anymore. I don't have a good stereo system or amplifiers to hook it up to, so I'm currently using an extra pair of PC speakers. Since the music is very quiet even at max volume, I'm thinking about buying a pre-amp soon. How would the grounding work for this set up?
Plug the turntable into the phono socket and any halfway decent amp should also have a ground or earth terminal fo you to plug the earth lead to.
