Turntable MP3 Player what's the best turn table and speakers for the money?
I want to get a nice turntable (record player) and speakers, I'm not looking for a usb table, I have no need to transfer them into mp3's. I just want to know if there is a specific website or some brand that I will benefit from buying.
There are at least ten brands, and therefore at least 50 models,
of turntables for a beginner to consider.
Then, there are all sorts of cartridges to choose from.
A (real) turntable cannot drive speakers;
you'll need an amplifier or receiver to do that.
Visit a real stereo store, if there is one close enough to where you live,
and inquire there about what you need in order to further your interests.
Otherwise, get some catalogs to look at.
