Turntable Media Player I want to record music to windows media player from a line in?
How do you gain access to a music recorder to be able to (lets say) a turntable to your computer?How can I record it in real time so that I can put the music on cd?
You need a sound card or capable line input for a computer that can handle the real time analog to digital conversion (for hearing thru the computer speakers while recording). Plus a preamp for the turntable. Then any decent sound recording software, like a simple wav file editor, will work. Look up either M-Audio or soundblaster sound cards.
