Turntable Convert Vinyl Converting WAV files to MP3 files with iTunes?
I'm using a USB turntable to digitize my vinyl - but how do I convert the WAV files to MP3 using iTunes 7?
Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
iTunes would be the WRONG tool to be using to do this. If you want to get good results, use an application like Sound Forge or you could get the Free AudioGrabber and it will let you encode an MP3 file from a .wav

Vinyl to CD hardware setup
Best affordable turntable?
I'm looking for a turn table to play some old vinyl records, what's a good one that's affordable (I'd probably have to buy my own, and I'm 16 and don't have a job so...affordable would be good!)
Possibly also one that could convert the music to mp3s? How much more do those cost?

You can get a USB turntable fairly cheap (around $100) that will plug right into your computer so you can burn it to CD or save it on your hard drive. A turntable with a built in CD recorder will cost a little more.
