Problems with arm on Technics SL-BD20 Turntable?
I have a problem with my turntable arm.
When it gets to the end of a record the arm doesn't lift up high enough to go back to its rest, and it ends up dragging along my records unless i get there before it ends.
Ive fiddled about with the counter weight , but that doesn't help, what else could i try?

It's not the counterweight that's the problem, it's the arm lifting mechanism. If the pivot has become worn, the arm won't lift high enough to clear the record.
If you are highly experienced in turntable repair, you can fix it yourself. If you aren't, you'll have to pay someone to fix it for you.
