who is the better batsman between these two?
Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara
In my personal opinion i would rate Lara better between the two because Lara can adapt to any playing conditions quickly and can score very freely as oppose to Tendulkar who takes time to adjust himself to a given playing condition, but the one thing tendulkar has that none possses is his batting ability, he can be a destructive and explosive yet he can be very technical and solid the very next time and as for lara goes he is not that of a techincal guy, he more of a power hitting guy but without a doubt these two will go down as the greatest of all but Lara will always have a edge considering his adaptibility to any given playing conditions compare to Tendulkar who usually strugggles in Fast,bouncy hand pitches

Brain Charles Lara with out a doubt is Far ahead of any other bats man in morden circket.He has always performed brilliantly under pressure.Two of his innings are rated as the best in wisden.LARA is a class act He does not require a Taylor made wicket or a weak opposition to preform if he could have played for a team like INDIA and not Win dies he could have scored two times more.
A GREAT bats man is no comparison to a dead wicket KING.

To Pitch Or Not?
This week Belgian design agencies went on a virtual strike replacing their websites with a message about the down side of creative agencies pitching for work. Interesting stuff indeed and has started some discussion on the web.
Web designers often have to pitch for work in order to win it. In many cases website designers are faced with scenarios where they may be one of up to ten agencies selected to pitch for work. It can take many days and long hours to develop a good pitch. Time researching the client and what they want to achieve from the site, understanding a design brief, working up a design concept alone can take a week if not longer. In addition to this, working out the technicalities of the site map, site functionality, server requirements, technologies to be used, cross-browser support amongst other things can take another week by itself. From start to finish, web designers can spend up to three weeks developing a sound pitch. In money terms this can be an investment of £10,000 or more just in the time it takes to get a pitch together.
It doesn't take a genius to figure out at that cost, pitching for work becomes a risky business and pitching for a project against perhaps nine other agencies is out of the question. There is a 90% chance of not winning the project before you even start! The point made by Belgian design companies goes deeper. By pitching for projects continuously, it is ultimately your paying clients that lose out as resources that could be used for their projects once the project is won are diverted to future pitches.
Some web designers have come to this realisation and no longer pitch for work, especially if they are fortunate enough to have a regular flow of work from current clients. The effort and resources should be used for paying clients and this is important as the standard of work will increase.
The creative world is a unique and crazy one. It seems to be the only industry where potential clients can ask for initial work, upfront and completely free of charge. At times, when a project is started, clients think they can increase the size of the workload with many extras and not pay additional fees for them. By comparison, it would be like going to a car dealer asking for a standard car then as it is being delivered, expecting extras like upgraded stereo, alloy wheels but not wanting to pay for them.
The main lesson for you as a client...don't ask ten agencies to pitch for your work. At most, ask three. Be fair with your appointed web designer once the project begins. If you need extras within the project, be prepared to pay extra for them.
