i use stantons, i like the layout, and the strength of the motor
whats your preference?
i dont want to hear from a whole bunch of tech 1200's loyalists with no reason for liking them other than eveyone else uses them

TECHNIC 1200s MK II DIRECT DRIVE TURNTABLES..
...although TECHNIC 1210s are permissible. (the black is sexy)

i know it sounds cliche but theres a reason people been usin technic since the 60s. you can abuse a turntable with thousands of hours of backspins,scratches,and beat jugglin and it comes back for more. and easily repaired if not. you see when technic's patent ran out in 2000 how EVERYONE in the market immediately made a carbon copy of the 1200..

ive also found that when starting out its better to start on the 1200 because the other turntables that dont perform on the level of a technic often hinder you after you grasp the basics and actually want to mix on beat, scratch etc..
which usually means you end up scrappin the kiddie turntables and go purchase the real 1200s..why not skip the middle man save the money and get Technics!

there really is no substitute.. thats why everyone is going to start using mp3s and their turntables again with software on their laptop like MixVibe.
