1998 grand cheerokee fan belt system problem?
bottom pulley on fan belt system is loose and I throw belt every 5 miles. does this have bolts to tie to engine and can a home owner possibly fix?
that would be the crank pulley and yes you have bolts that screws into the damper.

Yes, and YES your current water pump spins backwards, and YES you could just use a shorter belt IF you still can spin the other accerories the right way and YES the electric water pump might be bought with reverse flow.
and YES if you don't buy the EXACT RIGHT STUFF you'll burn up your motor.
