Can I simultaneously plug my PS3 (HDMI) + PC (DVI) into my monitor and hit the switch source button to use?
My LG Monitor (W2252) has inputs for both DVI and HDMI. I'm currently plugging the PC in via the DVI slot, and I want to know if I could safely plug in my PS3 to the HDMI slot and switch between PC and PS3 by hitting the 'source' button. My monitor doesnt seem to switch sources automatically, so it seems safe. Would it work? Or would my monitor just panic and explode....?
Yes, i have that set up now on my flat screen tv. hdmi for ps3, d-sub for computer. sound might be difficult. you may have to plug your av leads into your ps3 and run them through your amp. there is an option on ps3 to change sound from hdmi to av cables
