Sut Needs

i am almost 12(really close to 13) and yesterday i went to the bathroom in the morning.i wiped my and i found a little blood.i ignored it,and then i needed to go to the bathroom a lot just to pee yesterday,i had no appetite to eat much.then today i wiped my self and found more blood,and i checked the toilet and i had blood.if this is my period this is the first time ever.sut so far im not sure if this is supposed to happen when i pee only.oh and my tummy kinda hurts not too much.

You are at the age where you will be starting puberty.
The pains in your stomach, if they are cramps then it may be your period, or the lead up to it.
The blood is probably your period too. When you first start it is pretty small spots of blood in your underwear, and it happens at pretty random times.
A way to tell, is have you had much discharge? And do you have pubic hair "down there" and your armpits.
I would suggest you wear some pads, or keep some in your bag, what harm can it do? When you get older, and more used to your periods, maybe you can try tampons? They are cleaner, yet for some people harder to use.
