Stereo Integrated
Technics stereo amp. trouble (SU-X102)?
Hi, I'm getting a problem with the stereo integrated amplifier on our hi-fi system, it's an SU-X102. When I switch the whole system on, the stereo amp. stays off, as well as the cassette deck (RS-X102)...
I have tried so far :
- turned power off at mains
- made sure the power cables ( and all other cables ) are as far in as they will go
- made sure the cables are in the right places
and yes I have pressed the power button...
Is there anything I can do ?
Make sure all your control cables are plugged in correctly. You may have them reversed.
If the cables are not reversed, hopefully you have blown a fuse in the amp. The system is from the early 1990's but you can probably easily take it apart and replace the fuse yourself.
Otherwise, you probably have a bad power supply, and that would not be worth fixing unless you can do it yourself.
