Shure Cartridges What's the best solution, or product to clean vinyl LP records??
I use Stanton VC-1 vinyl cleaner, I have a Techniques 1210 turntable with a M 97 shure cartridge. I still get pops and cracks. Are those just inevitable??
Unfortunately, over time, the pops and crackles are inevitable. I use an old fuzzy velvet gadget with a cleaning fluid made from 1% isopropyl alcohol and water on the velvet, put the record on the turntable, and gently wipe the surface of the disc as it spins. Wish I could help you more, but that's about it.
