I want to DJ. Serato Scratch Live alternatives?
I want to buy a pair of decks and a mixer. I wanna have a lot of music flexibility, but SSL is too expensive. Any ideas on other alternatives to blend the feel and control of vinyl with the flexibility of mp3s/CDs??
theres nothing else to do, if you cant afford decks and ssl or a similar program like traktor (almost the same price as ssl) then you will have to either use cdj's or midi controllers, they are very flexible with music, but they wont give you the feel of using decks and vinyl( except for the numark ns7 controller ). So your options are to save up money for ssl or use cdj's or midi controllers.

How interesting are Hip Hop Records?
Hip hop music, also known as the rap music, is a modern form of music. This type of music is available in the hip hop records. Hip hop music does not include lyrical styles. It is made up of two elements, rapping and record scratching. You may call rapping as MCing and DJing. This is also known as audio mixing. - Sampling: Sampling is used in modern type of hip hop. In this type, the producers create original recordings using beats generated from the computer. Sampling is very important in hip hop music. The samples are usually taken from vinyl and are transferred to the samplers or sequencers.

A bassline:This is a core part of hip hop. It is exclusively used for the low-pitched instrument.
- A drum beat: The drum beat is another essential element of hip hop production. The quality of the hip hop recording greatly depends on the speed and complexity of the drum beat. Some of the beats are sample beats; others are generated from the drum machines like Alesis SR-16 or Roland TR-808.The TR-808 cowbell is used in the hip hop production, to generate a better sound for the recording.
