Do you think this Drum set would sound good with These heads?
Well im looking for a drum set. Ive been looking on craigslist and havent found anything good thats not over $1000
So im look at music123 and decided to try a Pulse drum set with all remo ambassadors heads (weather king on snare and Aquarian on bass)
and Zildjian A series cymbals with a Iron Cobra Jr double pedal and a Iron Cobra stage master hi-hat
But do u think it would be better to get a kinda good drum set with cheaper cymbals or a cheaper drum set with really good heads (and tuning) and great cymbals?

First thought was Ddrum Diablo with remo ebony ambassators heads (weather king on snare) iron cobra jr pedal, zildjian ZBT cymbals
Second thought Pulse with same head, same pedal, Zildjian A series Cymbals, and stage Tama stage master hi hat

In my opinion, and I tell my customers this before I build a drum set. The shells are about 10% of an overall drum set sound.
Your top priority should be quality cymbals. Cymbals that you can own forever unless you crack them. Pretty much anything B20 Bronze, which every cymbal company makes. This will cost some money, but it's more of an investment of not having to upgrade later on. If you really were on a budget then i'd look into the Sabian XS20 cymbals. They are professional B20 Bronze, however because they're completely machine made, they're less expensive. They're great sounding though, i gig and record with the 18" crash-ride XS20.
Next should be a good snare. A workhorse snare that can be tuned high, low, in between, in the studio or on stage. In my opinion a 5-6" deep Maple or Bubinga snare or a good quality Brass shelled snare does the trick.
After that go buy a drumdial. It allows you to set the tension of the head equally at every tension rod. After you tune with this, some fine tuning by ear may or may not be needed, however this will greatly aid tuning a drum to a sound that you want.
Then buy a drum set. No Pulse. You'll want to upgrade within a year. pearl export or ludwig accent combo at the minimum. Ddrum Diablo's are good drums. I would recommend a set with a wrap instead of a lacquer/stain/paint finish because it's more durable. Also wraps with some sort of pattern hide scuffs better.
Heads
Single ply for the resonant heads. Remo Ambassador's or Evans G1 or an equivalent from the other brands like aquarian.
Batter heads, I would recommend a 2 ply head like the Remo Emperor or the Evans G2. Clear or coated is up to you. Clear tends to project, has a sharper note and has better attack. Coated heads are warmer and slightly muffle the higher overtones.
I play live shows with Ludwig Classic Maples with Evans G2 coated batters, G1 clear reso's. Snare is a Keller shell 6 ply maple that I built.
I record with a drum set I built, Keller 6 ply birch with the same heads as above and the same snare too.
