Record Stereo
On my old stereo record player/receiver, what does "Add" mean when I push the button for phono?
This also means the phono portion does not work (everything else does). It's an old Maganavox.
It appears when I push the "Phono" function. Tape and CD/TV work fine. When I put the LP on top and bring the needle over, however, it still doesn't move. (Add remains on the screen)

Is this an old LP changer? Might "Add" mean to pause the record changer to allow you to add LPs to the stack?
That's the only thing I can think of. I've never seen "Add" on a stereo. Maybe if you went into more detail about where you see "Add," and what else you observe about it, people could give better answers.
