Help with recording music?
Hello, i'm really a starter at all this recording stuff.
Me and my sister are really looking into recording music, and putting it on myspace, etc, to share with our friends and family. I'm a keyboardist, and she's a vocalist + guitar player.
I recently purchased Cakewalk Music Creator that came with a cord, one side has the USB port insert, and the other side had the plug into the instrument itself. I played around with it and recorded my keyboard playing, it came out great. I was just wondering what kind of microphone i should use, etc.
please help as much as you can!
Well, if you plan on putting it on myspace, you'll need a memory card. But if your recorder has a manual, you need to look what type of memory it needs.
But brands of instruments is a matter of opinion. I could tell you great brands of intruments but I would need to know what type of music you play.
