Record Player Recommendations

Can someone recommend a new, basic, durable Verizon cell phone?
I am eligible for a new phone from Verizon this week and just want a basic phone with camera & video. Internet & mp3 player are not necessary. I prefer NOT to have a Motorola.
My last couple of phones had a problem keeping the battery charge, so I'm looking for one with a good battery record.
Looking to spend little money out of pocket.
Need a phone that is durable (I'm a spaz & drop it a lot).
I've already looked on line a bit, but would appreciate some recommendations from personal experience. THANKS.
I like LG and samsung. I had a samsung for two years, with the same battery and I let the battery drain a couple of times, but the battery never stopped working and I dropped it like 5 times. Now I have an LG. I've dropped it once or twice already, but it hasn't even scratched.

Recording cassettes onto computer?
Hi - I have some radio recordings on tape and I'm hoping to record them onto my computer as files as easily and quickly as possible. I've looked on the net for help, but I thought I'd ask you smart people for an up-to-date relevant-to-me answer. I have Nero StartSmart - can I use this? I don't want to separate the audio into tracks, does this enable me to choose not to do that?
I know I'll need cables to connect my cassette player to my pc, but I'm not sure if I have them.. can you provide me with specific descriptions? And finally, I'm worried about the space this will take up on my computer, do you have any recommendations for file types, and also have any of you actually done this before (with Nero?) - what were any issues you had?
Thank you very much for your help in advance !!
Put simply, you will need to connect your cassette player to your PC soundcard, then play the cassette whilst recording on your PC. A step-by-step guide is available at:
http://www.cassette2cd.co.uk/DIY/index.php
follow the link 'cassette to CD'
The recording software is the key, there are some free software downloads available at:
http://www.cassette2cd.co.uk/downloads.php
I have used ‘Magix Audio Cleaning Lab’ and ‘Audacity’ – Audacity is particularly popular since it is free!
If you record to WAV format, expect file sizes of around 10MB per minute, or 1MB per minute for MP3 (at 128kbps).
Once you have your digital versions of the recording on your PC, simply burn them on to a CD (Nero burning software or similar..). If you use Magix Audio Cleaning, the software will burn an audio CD for you without needing additional software (assuming you have a CD writing drive of course!). And yes, Nero will happily do the job as well...
You can also download a free PDF version of the step-by–step guide from the download page mentioned above, the guide is complete with diagrams and screen-shots (including details of the cable you require)
Hope this helps...
