Record Player Noise
Trying to record from Sky Plus to my DVD Recorder, but all I get is white noise/static?
Tuning is fine. I can see the Sky channels on the DVD channel.
But after recording, there is just static on the DVD.
I've checked all the connections.
I used to be able to record from Sky to my DVD player before I had Sky Plus.
And to top it all off, my missus has used 97% of the memory!!
Thanks for the answer Joao N... The connections are all right, the channel settings are all correct as well. Just doesn't do what it's supposed to!
you have to connect the DVD to the sky+ scart socket that says VCR (the top scart socket). You will then have to set the right AV input on your DVD recorder (ie: if the sky box is connected to AV1 on the DVD then you must select this as the recording input.
If you were previously recording via RF (aerial cable) and sky used to be recorded on the DVD recorder on a channel number (ie: 6), then you will have to re tune the DVD recorder channel 6 to pick up Sky ( tuning frequency 847.25 MHz or CH68)

I need help with a vintage record player!?
I purchased a BSR 20-BPX record player off of ebay as a Christmas gift. It was reported as working but needed a new stylus, I bought it and when I receieved it the table would not spin. I emailed the seller who told me to take it to claims at the post office. I would like someone who knows about record players to help me! I want it to work. It makes a squeaking noise when turned to play, as if it is trying to turn the belts... Any advice or website or business... anything! I live in CO. Thank you
