Setting up my new turntable (RCA with ground?) (Numark TT1650)?
OK so I just bought a Numark TT1650 as-is at Best Buy for a clearance price and it didnt come with an RCA W/ Ground cable like it shows in the manual. Can I just use any ground wire from radio shack? Also, do I need special speakers or can I just use my computer speakers? My computer speakers do not have a place to insert any ground forks. All i want to do is play my old Michael Jackson vinyls 
Yes... You can use any length of wire as a ground wire. The terminals on the ends are optional. A length of 16 gauge wire would be perfect. You could crimp or solder some terminals on the ends for neatness if you have a crimping tool or soldering iron...

A standard RCA cable will work just fine for the audio portion of the hookup.
You need a phono preamp to bring the signal from your turntable cartridge up to standard line-level. The phono preamp also has the terminal for your turntable's ground wire. Then, using the right adapter cable, you could plug your turntable / phono preamp into any standard line-level input and your computer speakers would work fine. If your computer has a "line-in" jack, you could use that to record digitally from your vinyl. For just listening, it would probably be best to hook the phono preamp straight to the powered speakers. This way, the analog sound wouldn't be converted to digital by your sound card when you listened. The inexpensive Behringer phono preamp sounds great, especially considering the price. I've compared it to some more expensive phono preamps and it actually sounds better than some of them. Great buy...

They also make one with a USB output for making digital recordings from vinyl with computers having no "line-in" jack (like most laptops) or computers that have noisy or otherwise poor on-board sound. I don't own this, but I would bet the sound isn't quite as good as the other one for just listening...

Oh and... You may want to upgrade the cartridge to something with an elliptical stylus someday for smoother sound, cleaner tracking and better detail. The Audio Technica AT95E would be a nice upgrade and it's not too expensive. I bought mine from William Thacker on eBay at a great price and it sounds great!...

This store is more expensive, but they post some good info about the cartridge. They also sell their own upgrade needles for this already excellent sounding cartridge and they've received excellent reviews...
