Headphones in TV dont work?
Ok, so I've posted questions before and gotten answers but none of them work. My TV doesn't have a headphone jack, so I was told to buy "HOSA CFR-210 Stereo Female Mini to 2 RCA Male Plugs - 10 Feet"--- I don't know what that means but I bought it. It doesn't work. I know enough to know that when I want Audio to come out of my TV there has to be 'Audio Out' but there isn't. The only thing that says out is "Digital Audio Out". And there is another thing that says PC Audio. I NEED to find some way to put headphones in my TV and I really hope it is possible. Is there a "Digital Audio Out" Cable that works? I don't want to buy something else that doesn't work. I can't keep spending money! So if anyone has ANY suggestions PLEASE let me know!!!

For a TV that has only a digital audio out and no headphone jack, there is really only one way to do what you want to do: connect the digital audio output to a surround sound or home theater amplifier that has a digital audio input and a headphone jack.
If you have an amplifier that only has the usual analog input (2 RCA connectors), you could do it by adding some type of digital to analog converter between the TV and the amplifier, similar to the reference below. But that makes for a cumbersome setup in my opinion, and it requires buying an expensive adapter.
So the bottom line for you is an external amplifier with a digital input. If you want to add a surround sound system to your TV, the headphone jack issue would be solved. That's another big expense, but the SS system would give you a lot of nice features, including the use of headphones. You can even control the volume in the headphones with the SS remote. (It's what I do.)
