Portable Record Player Car
Why can't I hear a CD I have copied of a book on my car CD player?
It plays on my computer and it plays on my portable CD player, but not on the car CD player. Is there a special way to record so it will play in the car? Please help and thanks in advance.
Your CD player will or will not play the recorded CD, depending on the type of format you recorded the CD on OR your CD doesn't support the type of CD's. Most, if not all the newer radios will play a CD-R, CD+R, CD-RW, or CD+RW. If it is an older CD player then it doesn't support that type of format. If you have the CD burned as an MP3 or WMA format it will not play on the CD player unless it's specified on the radio. I would check to see if the CD player is able to support the CD you have for your listening pleasure.

cd plays on computer and car, not on portable cd player?
I recorded an audio cd using Nero. It plays on my computer and in the car but not on my portable. Other cd's play fine in the portable.
