Player Portable Turntable Do people still listen to music with portable CD players nowadays?
Or am I old-fashioned? I listen to music with CD's, mp3 player, & cassettes. Too bad I don't have a turntable.
I use all of those methods to listen to music, and i still buy/listen to a lot of vinyl. cassettes are lifesavers in my sweet 80s car. maybe it's old-fashioned, but i still haven't been convinced that paying for digital music is worth it. i'd rather be able to pick up a CD and be able to listen to it basically anywhere, instead of listening to music through my crappy computer speakers or investing in one of those speaker docks (most of which aren't adaptable to the mp3 player i have). especially with crappy compression rates, i'm not giving up on the old ways just yet.
