Your opinion on buying VHS movies?
Basically, i love the really old movies that i use to watch when i was a kid.. like The Jungle Book, Annie, Peter Pan.. etc.
now they have them on DVD.. with bonus features, high quality color and stuff. As much as i would love to collect them on DVD.. its just to expensive for me. Do you think its pointless to collect them on VHS? When you buy them on VHS they are cheap.. about 4 dollars each instead of the normal 15 per DVD. I have a VHS/DVD (toshiba) player but will it still work in 10 years or so? Or is buying them on VHS pointless? In 10 years will i still be able to watch them?
What do you think.. pointless?
well if in 10 years if you still have the VHS player im sure it will work.
but remember, DVDs have better quality picture, they are smaller to store, and easier to navigate the movie you are watching (rewinding and such)
but, the pros are that you will have quite a unique collection! if you have kids someday, you can be all reminiscey (i made that word up) and old, and tell them all about the days before DVDs and whatever inventions have been invented.
