No$GBA and pokemon diamond help?

ok, i am playing the no$GBA pokemon diamond, but the problem is, the speed keeps fluctuating, from 105 to as low as 40, these are my settings

Emulation speed, LCD Refresh: realtime auto
Reset/Startup entrypoint: Start Cartridge directly
Video output: 24bit true
3D renderer: nocash
GBA Mode: VGA (poppy bright)
GBA cartridge backup media: auto
NDS cartidge backup media: flash 512kbytes
solar sensor level: Bright Sunlight
Sound Output mode: Digital Mono
Sound Desired Sample Rate: Low (10kHz)
multiboot port: none/disabled
number of emulated gameboys: 1 (if this helps, i use the VBA for GBA games)
Link Gamepaks: Gamepaks in all GBAs
Link cable type: automatic

help if you can please

I have platinum rather than diamond on the nocash, but these are the settings mine's set to:

GBA Mode == VGA (poppy bright)
NDS Mode == Nintendo DS (normal 4MB)
Emulation Speed, LCD Refresh == -Realtime, Auto
Reset/Startup Entrypoint == -Start Cartridge directly
Topmost Display Lines == -Display Normal
Sound Output Mode == Digital Stereo
Sound Desired Sample Rate == -High (44kHz) (best)
Video Output == 24bit True Color
Emulate BIOS Functions == By real GBA.ROM (accurate)
Solar Sensor Level == Darkness
GBA Cartridge Backup Media == -Auto
NDS-Cartridge Backup Media == FLASH 512KBytes
Multiboot Port == -None/Disabled
Multiboot Completion == -Auto-close Upload Box
Multiboot Normal/BurstDelays == -Medium/Medium (stable)
Game Screen Filter == None (fast)
Decompressed Help File == Delete after Usage
Create Game Window at == Upper/right of Debug Window
Game Screen Sizing == Strict
IIgame_size == normal
Number of Emulated Gameboys == -Single Machine
Link Gamepaks == -Gamepaks in all GBAs
Link Cable Type == -Automatic
Performance Indicator == -Show Timing only if <>100%
Autosave Options == -Nope
Load ROM-Images to == -All machines

Also, make sure it's a version 2.6a, or a 2.7 (but you have to pay for that, as it's brand new). Older versions don't work as well. Or, it could just be a faulty copy. I got a game, and then it wouldn't save, and the characters started speaking japanese. What the hell.

Well, it's either that, or it could be some anti viral program on your computer trying to get rid of it (as nocash games normally have several bugs), make sure that whenever you play the game, have no other windows up, ect. And where did you download it from. Normally the best site is megaupload.com, it's pretty reliable, although I have yet to try other sites.

That's about it, hope that helps, if not, then let me know, and i'll try again.

-Jesse

Mono: A Developer's Notebook

Mono: A Developer's Notebook

The Mono Project is the much talked about open source initiative to create a Unix implementation of Microsoft's .NET Development Framework. Its purpose is to allow Unix developers to build and deploy cross platform .NET applications. The project has also sparked interest in developing components, libraries and frameworks with C#, the programming language of .NET. The controversy? Some say Mono will become the preferred platform for Linux development, empowering Linux/Unix developers. Others say it will allow Microsoft to embrace, extend, and extinguish Linux. The controversy rages on, but like many developers maybe you've had enough talk and want to see what Mono is really all about. There's one way to find out: roll up your sleeves, get to work, and see what you Mono can do. How do you start? You can research Mono at length. You can play around with it, hoping to figure things out for yourself. Or, you can get straight to work with Mono: A Developer's Notebook a hands on guide and your trusty lab partner as you explore Mono 1.0. Light on theory and long on practical application, Mono: A Developer's Notebook bypasses the talk and theory, and jumps right into Mono 1.0. Diving quickly into a rapid tour of Mono, you'll work through nearly fifty mini projects that will introduce you to the most important and compelling aspects of the 1.0 release. Using the task oriented format of this new series, you'll learn how to acquire, install, and run Mono on Linux, Windows, or Mac OS X. You'll work with the various Mono components: Gtk#, the Common Language Runtime, the class libraries (both .NET and Mono provided class libraries), IKVM and the Mono C# compiler. No other resource will take you so deeply into Mono so quickly or show you as effectively what Mono is capable of. The new Developer's Notebooks series from O'Reilly covers important new tools for software developers. Emphasizing example over explanation and practice over theory, they focus on learning by doing you'll get the goods straight from the masters, in an informal and code intensive style that suits developers. If you've been curious about Mono, but haven't known where to start, this no fluff, lab style guide is the solution. By Edd Dumbill, Niel M. Game Boy Advance Wireless Adapter

Connectivity

A Pearl Pink Game Boy Advance SP with the wireless adapter attached

Like the Game Boy Advance Game Link Cable, this device allows for multiplayer gaming with the Game Boy Advance, and attaches via the External Extension Connector. The range of this adapter is short compared to the built-in wireless function of the Nintendo DS; Nintendo recommends players stay within 10 ft. (about 3m) of each other for best results. Note that due to the Game Boy Micro's different style link cable port, the Game Boy Advance Wireless Adapter will not attach to it. However, a Game Boy Micro Wireless Adapter is available for the Micro which is compatible for linking with the Game Boy Advance Wireless Adapter. Neither wireless adapter can connect with the Nintendo DS since the DS does not support multiplayer mode in Game Boy Advance games.

One of the wireless adapter's greatest uses is in Pokmon FireRed, Pokmon LeafGreen, and Pokmon Emerald. While all three still support the Game Boy Advance Game Link Cable, up to thirty-nine wireless adapter-connected players can convene in a virtual in-game lobby called the "Union Room" for battles and trades. The wireless adapter is also used in Pokmon games to download special data via the Mystery Gift option at various Pokmon-related events. Besides the Union Room in certain Pokmon versions, the wireless adapter only supports up to five players.

A major drawback of the Game Boy Advance Wireless Adapter is that it is not backwards compatible; that is, it will only work with games that have been programmed to support the wireless adapter, excluding all older model Game Boy games. As of July 2009, only about 30 Game Boy Advance games support the wireless adapter, and many of the supported games are those in the bit Generations series (Japan only) and the Classic NES Series.

Search feature

This feature can be accessed when no game cartridge is present. Simply turn on the system with only the wireless adapter inserted. It will continually search for compatible games that are being played nearby. This allows players to easily see who is hosting a game that can be joined.

Marketing and pricing

The accessory was packaged with Pokmon FireRed and Pokmon LeafGreen, but it has not been released in other package deals.[citation needed] Nintendo of America sells the device separately on its online store for USD $19.99.

There are some third-party devices that use the wireless functionality but act more like a link cable.[citation needed]
