Is my Stereo Receiver Toast?
It's a Kenwood KR-4070 stuck on FM Radio Even AM Radio,Aux,Phono,Tape don't work I have moved the input selector back & forth several times nothing!
Could it just be a blown fuse? This Stereo Receiver has 2 fuses in it
FM Radio plays fine
Idk if it turns easier than it should not able to tell
The seller that I bought it from cleaned all the controls including the input selector knob. Yes I'm really considering replaceing it have for months now as it was never powerful enough for my speakers. I will just use my Yamaha RX-V363 or get a 1990's or 2000's Model Year Kenwood
I doubt it is a blown fuse if the FM works fine. The selector switch just may need to be cleaned with some contact cleaner spray:

This type of spray is available at Radio Shack and home stores in the USA.
I have "fixed" many older stereo receivers with contact cleaner. Open the top (unplug it first) and spray the control behind the selector knob. Usually there is a small hole in the control to allow the cleaner to get inside.
