Party Time Portable
Need help timing hair and make up for 8 people?
A cousin has asked me to arrange and take care of all the hair and make up for her bridal party which includes her, the maid of honor, the two mom's, three bridesmaids and one flower girl!!!! Eight in total. And we're doing this in a hotel. Most/all will be updo's too, we just haven't decided on the flower girl yet. I've got two other girls who are going to help me, but my brain has seized up trying to figure out how to schedule all this and time it right. How long should we allow from start to finish. I've got the option of using three portable hood dryers if we set their hair, or is it better if we use hot rollers? Then how long do you think we should allow for make up. I was thinking if two of us started hair first and then later two of us did make up with one finishing the hair this might work better. My head hurts!!!
Since everyones hair is different, it is obviously not going to work to have just one way to style their hair. And since you're not used to every ones hair, there are potential problems with this situation.
I really suggest that brides let their attendants get their hair done by the person they are used to and that is used to their hair. A first try on someones hair for a wedding is not my idea of a good situation. Too risky.
Time frame? I really wouldn't know where to start. One hour for each? Divided by 3 people? Add an hour or two in case problems come up.

Whats a good birthday present to give my soon to be 14 year old daughter?
She's sweet, smart, stylish...
She has a camera, mp3 player, portable dvd player, computer. I don't no what to get her and I only have 4 days! She's very crafty and she already has everything in the craft department! She's not really into makeup. She wants a nother dog but we can't get the fence put up in time. The worst thing is she's not inviting her sister to her party. They can't get along now!
She's worked @ a flower shop for the past couple of years and she doesn't get an allowance. All the stuff that I mentioned she bought with her own money.
A gift card to a local mall. They have one that you can purchase for anything in the mall......and they also have credit cards where you can purchase anything anywhere. You can also purchase something sentimental as others suggest. She may not be too into it now but she may treasure it later.
