Panasonic Record Player Needle
Panasonic Record Player Needle
where can I get a needle for my record player Panasonic deck?

God that takes me back !!! My first record player was a Ferguson Music Centre. It was made of chrome and solid black plastis with a hinged clear plastic top, it had a record player, a double tape deck and a radio. I paid £30 in 1974 and it lasted nearly 20 years It was so far advanced it was mindblowing I'd listen to Radio Luxembourg all night long and order my LP's through the NME paper. Aaaaaww memories. You could try the NME ads, it is still printed, or you could try The Loot music section they have some weird stuff in there or the bigger music shops in Oxford St..Good luck with your search...

I have a panasonic record player. On it also has an A-track player and radio. it's old. But i don't know how old it is. The lady i got it from said it was from the early sixties... but unless the bottom half of my player was added on later it couldn't be from the early sixties, with the A-track and all.. any way, when i bought it, it was on this auto play thing. there was like a crap load of records on top of the long needle in the middle, and when the needle finished playing the arm would get out of the way, one record would drop and it would play that record. when i boxed it up and took it my house and set it all up again i didn't know

Photobucket doesn't have your pix....but if your Panasonic unit has an 8-track it is probably from the early seventies. 8-track players became popular in the late sixties and peaked in the early to mid seventies. Your set has an automatic record changer, probably made by BSR. Millions of these were made in the 70's, and they can be a lot of fun.
