Best form of broadband - USB, WIFI or cable?
I am taking up a new broadband connection. Which is a better option to go for? WIFI router the service provider installs or the USB stick which is provided by Mobile operators like Airtel, vodafone, reliance or the traditional connection with network which BSNL, airtel provides? i heard the WIFI or USB is not very fast for downloads etc... any inputs would be nice.
if ur can spend for wifi router connection, as they are comparetively costly, then tht's the best option to opt for, else the usb sticks provided now a days r also a good choice n as u know tht its a wireless connection hence you wont recive much connectivity n comparetively high download speeds at times like best example our cellphone's networks etc.... depends where u r n wht site or stuff u r downloading!!

"Operator please..." Telephone service on shortwave
My internet works for about a minute, then quits?
I have a dell dimension desktop with a lynksys wireless usb unit. When i reboot the computer the internet will work for a few minutes. Then it will stop. When i look at the task manager under performance, the cpu is up over 70% consistently when the internet is on. when i disconnect it, it drops back down to a normal level. The same thing happens whether or not the lynksys operator is disabled. Any ideas??
Uninstall the linksys
Reboot.
Unplug the usb from the pc.
Put the linksys disk in the pc.
Now do not use the install program from the disk.
Plug the usb back in.
The OS should offer to automatically search in the first screen.
Choose no.
In the next screen choose yes and windows should find and install the drivers only!
That is very important.
Then, windows should say that connections are available.
Click on connections and manually run the internet using your password.
See if this does not work since the Linksys software often causes problems because Windows wants to run your internet connection.
