Vulcan Dishlex User Programming Helps
This page is designed to provide assistance to the user of Vulcan Dishlex Dishwashers up to models Global 500.
Models .... 500e,500eco,640hd,750eco,Milno,etc .... and 200,300,450,500 Global series
Global series
This machine will not allow both the silent beep feature and child lock feature to be on together if they have both been selected you may have to turn both off to restore normal action
Global series ....setting the child lock feature
This feature is particularly useful for stopping the problem of brushing against the buttons of the protruding control panel and accidentally pressing a control button.
Hold down the programme/clear button and while still holding it press the Start/Pause button for 2 seconds. A short burst of three beeps will sound. Now there will be a 2 second delay when operating the keys. this feature is handy to prevent brushing against the keys and accidentally operating them.
To delete the child lock feature
Hold down the programme/clear button and while still holding it press the Start/Pause button for 2 seconds. You should hear one long beep and the keys will now operate instantly without a delay of 2 seconds.
Silent beep feature...to turn on
Hold down programme/clear and press ECO for 2 seconds
Silent beep feature...to turn off
Hold down programme/clear and press ECO for 2 seconds A short beep should sound
Global series........ to check and adjust the fill time
If the water level is too low as seen by the min-max level indicator under the lower spray arm, then the water level will have to be increased by increasing the fill time. To change the fill time proceed as follows...turn off the power at the power point, count five and turn it on again. Hold the ECO button down until you hear a long beep. ( Approx 10 seconds) Then you should notice a wash progress light on to show the current fill time. Use the programme button to step the fill time up in increments one at a time. The factory setting standard is to see the wash light on which indicates a 80 second fill time. To UP this fill tome to 100 seconds, press the programme button once and notice the light change to the RINSE light indicating 100 second fill time. The dry light indicates 130 second fill time and the ready light indicates 160 second fill time. Note.... do not go right up without checking the water amount after each step or you may cause an overfill situation which will require paid professional help to fix.
