Numark TtUsb Numark Something wrong with my turntable?
I got a turntable for my birthday because I wanted to listen to records and put them onto the computer. I got a Numark TTUSB turntable and it's compatable with a mac and PC and I really like it alot. I've already recorded some records and such and it's really cool. The only problem is is that for some reason when my turntable is hooked to the computer and recording songs, it sometimes makes this loud, weird scratching noise for no reason. It even does it on good condition records. I look at the needle and it seems fine, but I don't know what's going on. It's very annoying when you're in the middle of recording and it does this and you have to start all over again. Can someone please help me out. I have a lot of records and I can't stand the thought of repeating the same record over and over again. PLEASE HELP!
They IS something wrong with your needle. That is the only reason why it made that scratching sounds.
