If a guest reserved a non-smoking room but all that was available was smoking, how would you handle that?
If a guest reserved a non-smoking room but all that was available was smoking, how would you handle that?
I would request a discount and a room ionizer.
This happened to us one time, but the hotel had some type of air cleaning system/ionizer type thing and to tell you the truth - we couldn't even tell.

are there any non smoking cruise ships any more?
I was on the Paradise a few years ago and it was so nice that it was non smoking and I've heard that that has gone to allow smoking now. I want to go on a cruise again it's been too long but I hate dealing with the smokers.
I understand your dilemma as I do not like the smoke either, however I do love Carnival and its ship may allow smoking but it is very select, it is allowed only on the decks but only on one side of the ship (starboard, right, I think) and the casino allowed it as well as a cigar lounge after that I did not see any. it was easy to avoid it in the end
