MP3 Turntable Ion is this a good usb turntable to use if I was going to be transferring Vinyl records to cds?
I need someone's opinion before I buy this. I'm just going to be transferring records to mp3 format and from there burn them onto cds. Would this be sufficient for what I want to do?
The whole point of vinyl is better sound quality, if you are converting to mp3 (lossy format) and then compressing an already compressed file to fit on a CD you are ruining the sound.
To answer your question, yes the turntable is sufficient, but it's a waste of time and money, you are not gaining any sound quality, just losing a lot.
