MP3 Mixer Turntables
EXPERIENCED DJs!!! I NEED YOUR HELP AND ADVICE!!?
I am looking to start Dj'ing and hopefully in a couple years when i am more experienced, i'll have my own gigs. But for now, im not sure what to start with. I know one thing for sure..I DO NOT WANT TO USE VINYL RECORDS. i have a laptop with TONS of music that i want to use to mix and i dont mind buying the dj software to mix and scratch (VirtualDJ, Serato, Audacity, whatever). I just dont know what turntables/mixer to buy that i dont need vinyl records. I want to have still mix and scratch but with the mp3 music i have on my laptop. Can someone please tell me everything i need to get me started and what you recommend(im also on a budget so nothing too expensive). I was looking at the Numark ttxusb. It would be nice to get a pair of those along with a mixer but not sure if those are just vinyl turntables or if i can use them with my laptop to mix. What do you think?
You can spin mp3s on a vinyl turntable by using serato scratch live. I have a website set up that explains this all for beginners. Check it out at http://www.djauctions.net
