Moving Magnet Stylus
How much is a Linn Sondek LP12 record player worth?
I have aqquired a Linn Sondek LP12 record player, and i have always know they are worth quite alot of money, but I dont really know that much about record players.
All i know is that it is in full working condition with a recently replaced tip that has hardly any wear on it and that the arm is an "ittok" one. Also that the stylus is moving magnet or MM.
I also have all of the packaging and the original recepipt dated back nearly 25 years.
I know there are two versions of it, and this one is the black one rather than the wooden framed one and looks like this:

I would love to know if anyone could put a price on it? I'm looking to sell it on ebay very soon as i have no use for it.

Moving Magnet and Conductor Problem $106.74 The moving magnet and conductor problem is a famous thought experiment, originating in the 19th century, concerning the intersection of classical electromagnetism and special relativity. Htc Touch Diamond Against Samsung I900 Omnia
Aside from competing with iPhone, HTC Touch Diamond also gets head-to-head with Samsung i900 Omnia. Instead of just using the plain Windows Mobile user interface both Samsung and HTC has come up with their own design. While HTC has its own TouchFLO UI, Samsung also boasts its TouchWiz UI which is its first effort in this area but they are building up on their mobile phones that are entirely touch screen.
Both mobile phones provide home screens that are touch-optimized. They have used their plug-ins to at least cover up the good-old Windows Mobile OS. They chose to create their own touch interfaces for the reason that Windows Mobile OS limits you to using the stylus only.
Samsung’s interface provides users with two options to choose from together with a launcher menu that has similarities with a normal feature phone interface. HTC also boasts its TouchFLO 3D software that provides quick access to the most used applications and is designed with eye-catching animations and graphics.
Both mobile phones also have several keys located at the bottom of the front panel. These keys are commonly used for navigation for the HTC the middle key only has limited use which is to zoom in and out images, web pages, emails and also used for media player control.
On the other hand, Samsung forgot to carve a place for its stylus. There are only a few hardware buttons on the Omnia which basically opens up the Main Menu and it is fairly touch-optimized.
Talking about technical aspects, the Diamond mobile phone has magnetic stylus while Samsung does not have one. CPU performance of Samsung is much better; storage space is larger with Samsung that has 8/16 GB while Diamond only has 4 GB. Samsung has higher resolution sporting a 5 MP camera while HTC only has 3.2 MP camera. For YouTube fanatics Samsung included a YouTube client and Trimmer for mp3 files.
