Mahogany Music
I really like Jimi Hendrix and Santana, will I like Led Zeppelin and Mahogany Rush?
I love Hendrix and Santana, and I looked on this website where they compare music that you like and try and find what you might like in that same area,
I tried Hendrix and Santana and was recommended Led Zeppelin and Mahogany Rush, I listened to some of their stuff and liked
But do you think I should get them on the basis of listening to one song
the recommended Led Zeppelin albums are II, III, IV and Physical graffiti, are these worth getting?
And with Mahogany Rush they recomend the greatest hits, is that worth getting ?
Please tell me what they are like and if you think I will like them
You'll love Zeppelin. The greatest rock band ever. Far more diverse and timeless than either Hendrix or Santana...which is why they sell sheds more records still to this day than the other two. Only the Beatles have sold more albums than Led Zeppelin worldwide. I wouldn't really say Zeppelin are in the 'same area' as Hendrix and Santana as Zeppelin were pretty unique, even though I do love Hendrix and Santana.
All the albums you listed are well worth getting. Led Zeppelin IV is not one of the biggest selling albums of all time for nothing. Same with Physical Graffiti. Led Zep II has so much energy for an album that is 37 years old. Led Zep III is half acoustic folk by the way so that's a heads up for you. I'd very much recommend the Led Zeppelin DVD as well. Mind blowing. I believe it's the fastest selling music DVD of all time and will become the biggest selling soon. It's awesome. Best music DVD I have ever seen.
I have no idea about Mahogany Rush. Sorry. But you can't go wrong with Zeppelin. Ignore the poster who said they 'suck'. He obviously knows nothing about music. He can't even spell Jimi Hendrix or 'zepplin' right. Sheesh!
