How does this thing ION USB Turntable work?
I've just bought this thing & it's starting to bug me! There's obviously something I'm doing wrong...But I just can't figure it out! There's the USB cable connected, the power is on, the turntable is turning, the light is on, but no sound is not coming out of the speakers.
FAO JDINVIS, nah mate I've got audacity, it came with the turntable...I just can't get any sound out of the speakers of either the Hi-fi or my computer...I don't know whether the system is knackered or not.
Looks like you're doing everything right so far, but missing a part!
You need a program to 'capture' the sound. Try 'Audacity', free from here:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
Play the vinyl 'through' this program and use that program to record it.

Hmmm, ok then! Which version of Windows are you running? I never had problems with Audacity on XP, but ran into similar problems testing a friends turntable on Vista.
To resolve that issue, I had to right-click over the speaker icon in my notification area and select 'Recording Devices', then right-click again in a blank area of the box that pops up and make sure all devices are ticked. (Show Disabled and Show Disconnected devices). If any more devices then appear in the Recording devices area, make sure that they're enabled.
That sorted it for me.

When conducting a raffle to raise money, the best raffle prize is often one which is donated. This allows all of the collected raffle money to be used by the organization.

Woot sells one product per day until it's sold out, or until 11:59 PM central time when that item is replaced with a new product. If the featured daily item sells out, you must wait until midnight to learn about the new featured product.

As a side, cameras (regular and video cameras) are good raffle items, and these items seem to come up for sale regularly on the site. Keep your eyes peeled - a great deal 'too good to miss' might be available today.
