i'm trying to install this HARD DRIVE, read my details and see if you can help me please?

so my system was woking fine, win xp home ed, but i neede more room and bought a 320gig Samsung HD321KJ, SATA or SATA2 con., it has good reviews at newegg and stuff...

so i plug everything in and windows does not find new hardware
my motherboard, another highly reviewed newegg item, MSI 865G Neo2, only has SATA conn, so i put the jumper setting on my new hd to be SATA

i go to the MSI website and update my BIOS, they have a nice Live Update Program, and i did it successfully. I did have older BIOS installed, and one of the improvements was "recognizing hd larger than 130gigs" something i was happy to see.

it did not fix the problem, still win did not recognize it

so i went and bought an external enclosure through usb, and the drive is recognized, but only in DEVICE MANAGER, win explorer does not see it.... i guess i have to PARTITION it? can you tell me how i do that?

any info is appreciated

Hard drives when coming as new have no partitions. Most likely you have to initialize drive. First right click on "My computer" icon and choose "Manage". On the left window select "Disk Manager" . At this moment computer should tell you that it have found new drive and it need to be initialised. Folow the wizard. After the disk is initialised, right click on it and create partition(s).

That should be enough for you to see new drive and use it.

A Review Of A Jumbo Stainless Steel Cup Holder

The Vegas style Jumbo Stainless Steel Cup Holder is a durable product for your poker table. Let us check out the features of the Jumbo Stainless Steel Cup Holder and what makes it so poplular.

If you are looking for real Vegas style cup holders for your poker table you have come to the right place. The Jumbo Stainless Steel Cup Holder is the kind of cup holder that you find across many casinos across the country. These cup holders are large enough to hold any kinds of cups or coffee mugs. Whether you use large coffee mugs for your poker games, or small cups these cup holders are one of the best fits for all your requirements. This product is 3-1/2 inches in diameter which makes it suitable for holding any kinds of cups. The Jumbo Stainless Steel Cup Holder is made of steel and unlike the plastic cup holders this has got a classy finish.

The steel finish makes this cup suitable for any poker room whether it is a professional casino or your home poker room. I have seen quite a few of my friends using this product at their poker tables. The length of the product is also ideal for any kind of cups and even glasses to fit into it. So, even if there is a highly charged game of Texas Holdem going on you need not worry about the coffee spilling on the table or on the carpet. The cup stands at 2-3/8 inches which makes it an ideal product for different poker tables. Irrespective of whether you are having a large 10 player table or a standard 8 player table this product is good enough to go with all.

The price of the table is also affordable and the price point at which this product sells makes it a good balance of quality and style. You can also buy the numbers that you require exactly for the table. If you think that your requirement is only for a couple of holders, you can buy exactly that number. However, it is suggested that buying a complete set of holders will add to the looks of the table.

Now let us see how this table ranks among similar products in its category. I will give the Jumbo Stainless Steel Cup Holder a total of 8 out of 10 points. I would not mind it giving 10 out of 10 but I leave it upon you to decide. The reason for giving this table such high review points is because it is a perfect combination of style, quality and price. Also being made of steel it has got better looks than the plastic cup holders. The product is durable and there is no worries about the product getting rusted. It is a product which can go on eternally and not require any change.

However, it is suggested that you maintain the product well. You will always want your cup holders to look new. Won't you! People who have bought the Jumbo Stainless Steel Cup Holder have always given positive feedback about the product. So, if you have plans to change your cup holders or buying new ones, this is the product to check out for.

Shelby – if you or any of your friends are interested in some very-informative background information concerning how and why, during the last seventy days of his life, Vincent van Gogh was able to produce over seventy incredibly-beautiful final masterpieces, the recent historical novel “The Last Van Gogh” (Penguin) by the internationally acclaimed author Alyson Richman provides some amazing insight. The author traveled to the French village of Auvers-sur-Oise on a number of occasions and meticulously researched the period during which Van Gogh lived there, even interviewing a number of the village’s elders, who knew his last muse, Magaret Gachet, the daughter of the homeopathic doctor who was treating Van Gogh at the time. It's truly a wonderful novel, beautifully written and highly recommended. (It’s available in paperback at Amazon.com and Barnesandnoble.com.) For anybody who loves Van Gogh’s works, this book should prove unbelievably fascinating. [Incidentally, Ms. Richman is also the author of the highly-reviewed novels “The Mask Carver’s Son” (Bloomsbury – 2000) and “Swedish Tango” (Simon & Schuster – 2004).]

The exciting new information about Van Gogh that Ms. Richman researched and incorporated into her fascinating new novel has already generated considerable interest and enthusiasm in lectures and discussion groups at fine art museums around the country, including the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Dayton Museum of Fine Art the Heckscher Museum of Art (in Huntington, New York) and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.
