From Sears

I want to buy an engagement ring from sears, is that a good place?
I noticed the same engagement ring at several places, walmart, zales and overstock.com, so does it really matter where I get a ring? Sears is the only place that has a specific ring I am looking for but I feel I should buy from Zales cause they offer lifetime warranty so if you lose a stone they replace it but Sears has a max of 3 years. Does it really matter where I get my ring?
I think buying a ring online is a smart idea, but I don't recommend Sears.
There are plenty of great online diamond retailers that specialize in engagement rings. It's a better bet to go with one of them. They have more resources, knowledge and staff than a general eCommerce business like Sears can offer.
Take a look at http://www.jamesallen.com/engagement-rings/ and http://design.jared-diamonds.com/engagement-rings/?Nic=0 to get a feel for what I'm talking about.
Good luck!

Modern Marvels: Sears Tower - $19.99 The history of the engineering masterpiece originally designed as the Sears Corporation headquarters is explored in this installment of the History Channel's Modern Marvels series. At the time the Sears Tower was designed, it was one of the most ambitious construction projects ever conceived. Chicago was a city already renowned for its spectacular architecture, so the designers needed to ensure that their building would be easily distinguishable from the remarkable buildings that surrounded it. The result was a building that changed the face of urban architecture. Now viewers can finally find out exactly how the Sears Tower was erected, and how it is successfully maintained decades after it originally changed the face of the Chicago skyline. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi |

Dr Sears PACE Program – Just What Do People Really Think?
You will find that Dr Al Sears name is quite popular if you run a simple search on the Net.
And why not? It appears that he just may have changed the very concept of exercise.
From the boring, exhaustive, sweating workouts he has brought out a unique and novel way to lose weight – the PACE Program, which refreshingly and astonishingly takes only 15-20 minutes.
The PACE exercise plan is as amazing as it is effective. If you look at it, it is a simple cardiovascular exercise that needs to be sustained for maximum 20 minutes every day. The best thing about this program as per the feedback received from people using it all over the world is the fact that though it is so short, it gives you most incredible results.
The implications are enormous here. The PACE program ushers in an era where you could bid adieu to the gym, mind-boggling exercise regimes, aerobics and all that you hated about the word ‘exercising’. Can this be possible? Yes, it is. Dr Sears PACE program gives you a very straightforward system through which, you achieve optimal weight loss AND good health.
The full form of PACE is Progressive Accelerating Cardiopulmonary Exertion, and as the name indicates, it is used to trigger a ‘progressive’ and continuous process through which you would burn fat for up to 24 hours after you conduct the exercise.
There are other benefits from this well-researched training program – the capacity of your lungs would be increased, which in turn makes your heart healthy and strong. This exercise is meant to make you heart-attack proof.
Are you wondering whether these claims are true? Well, Dr Sears PACE program seems to be delivering its promise and more. People seem to love it as this testimonial states; “Dr. Sears has developed his own PACE fitness program …… the PACE program is a cardiovascular workout in which you vary the intensity every few minutes so that you are burning fat quickly and effectively.”
Dr Sears PACE Program is not just any lose-weight-improve-your-health program. It is a revolution. Everyone can take it up – old, young, even people suffering from arthritis.
A peer review by Leigh F Callahan, PhD, Associate Professor Orthopedics, Medicine and Social Medicine and his colleagues published online in ‘Preventing Chronic Disease’ of 15 June 2005 says, “All exercises can be performed in a standing or seated position to accommodate individuals with different limitations. In addition to exercises, instructors provide education in proper body mechanics, breathing and relaxation techniques, self-management behaviors, body awareness, and exercise principles. These components are included to decrease symptoms such as pain, fatigue, depression, and stress.”
The best part of this program besides helping you lose weight and ensuring that you are outside the risk of a heart attack, is that it involves such little effort. You can completely forget about hiking, swimming, trekking, jogging – unless you want to take these up exclusively for pleasure. According to another review “PACE is targeted for adults who are not currently exercising regularly and allows for variation in course content and scheduling.”
From my perspective, I find the program refreshing. This is, for most people who have tried and tested it and found it to be working exactly as it says it should, a dream come true. Everyone wants to be slim, presentable and healthy. These are priceless possessions in today’s world because most people live sedentary lives. We eat wrongly and lead horribly hectic and stressful lives which result in us being overweight, developing heart problems plus many other health issues.
Dr Sears PACE program seems to have all the answers. Plus, it is simple and affordable.
But do not take my word for it. Have a look at what others say about it. Janet, another reviewer says, “I read the book and understood it completely. I am not a doctor or paid to write anything. Not only did I understand it but I realized that all of this trying to run for long periods of time has done nothing for me at all. I have gotten rid of unwanted pounds since starting the program without starving myself”
Janet also says, “I have been on the PACE program for over a year….This program is great. Any reviews that were negative were probably because they did not use the program the correct way. You have to get out of the thinking that more exercise is better. such as long walks, pushing heavy objects for long periods of time and running long distances. Once you start thinking different from the masses, you will have great benefits with this program. It has got me very fit and people do wonder if I spend long hours in the gym. When I tell them what I do they don’t believe me. Well, I know this is great and Al Sears is a very reputable doctor and I do recommend him highly. — this program is great!!!”
Another benefit of the PACE exercise program is that it is engineered to improve your lungs’ capacity as well as health of your heart. Here is what a delighted customer says, “…however, the most dramatic results came from my mother. She was diagnosed with COPD and Asthma. COPD is pretty serious and is degenerative. She used this PACE program for a few months and had her breathing re-tested. The doctor told her he didn't know why she was ever diagnosed with COPD because she doesn't have it. The amount of oxygen in her blood was measured. The reading was at 100%. The person administering this pulse-ox check said she's never seen anyone with a 100% oxygen level in their blood. I don't remember if my mother said it decreased her need for her Asthma inhaler, though.”
A review (listed on a self healing website) from a new believer in Dr Sears PACE program says, “…And I used to think that fat was all about calories. Dr. Sears has proven that it’s about what your body decides to do with calories – and where to get calories from when you need energy. They proved the power of this with a discovery from Canada… Researchers at Laval University in Quebec compared this fat-burning phenomenon to traditional cardio. They had some poor suckers cycle a grueling 45 minutes without stopping. Then they had another group use just one of the revolutionary PACE principles for brief 90 second bursts. The cardio guys burned twice as many calories, so you would guess that they would burn more fat - Right? Actually, no. When the researchers measured their body composition, the 90 second guys lost a lot more fat. In fact, they lost 9 times more fat than the cardio bikers for every calorie burned in the program.”
So, what do you get from this program? You get an incredible way to lose weight. You also get a foolproof method to increase the capacity of your lungs, which in turn makes you heart-attack proof. As if this was not enough, you would find that all this can be achieved by doing simple yet specifically formulated cardio that need not take more than 20 minutes per day.
The final verdict seems to be an inevitable thumbs-up for this wonderful program. There is no other way to classify it. Wherever you will search on the Net you will find raving testimonials about this program.
This is definitely something worth trying out.
