natural color, cropped w/ collar, zipper, breast pockets, textured vinyl-like material
no worries...i was thinking it probably was. someone gave it to me and i wasn't sure if it was like the new eco-chic or something! alas, the poor thing will re-gifted to Goodwill...

Skin Care Reviews are False
Skincare reviews are possibly your worst possible source of information when it comes to learning anything tangible about a product. You would think that when doing comparisons the best skincare brand would always win. That however is seldom the case. Why?
The reason that skincare reviews don't truly give you an accurate picture of any of the products covered is that the reviewer has something at stake in the matter. Find a place where they are conducting these comparisons, and then go back to these same people week in and week out.
You will notice after a few short weeks that the best skincare brand is the same during all of those weeks. Now try the same experiment at some other comparison site. You will notice a pattern their also only the brand of the product will be a different on than from the first sight.
Tricky Reviews Are Deceptive
The reason for the consistent wins by different companies is that the people conducting the skincare reviews work for the respective winners. It's an old trick meant to make the consumer think that he or she was getting some kind of unbiased opinion, when in fact they're getting a pitch.
You will never see the actual best skincare brand involved in this kind of underhanded practice, because they have no reason to. Their products speak for themselves, and word of mouth draws people to them. You don't need to call out names for the purpose of false challenges if you believe in the quality of your products.
Reviews Are Advertising in Disguise
Skincare reviews are a disguised form of advertising for a company, and since it can be seen by millions of people all over the world through the web it's also one of the cheapest. That is what makes doing that sort of thing so attractive to these companies is the cost. Why the need to market deceitfully?
Why the Product Deceit?
It's simply because they know that their poorly made product, with its faux fragrance and its chemical ingredients couldn't hold a candle to the best skincare brand. That is why they must push themselves and their product propaganda upon us from so many different angles in an attempt to convince you through repetition.
The Ingredients Make the Difference
I don't even pay attention to skincare reviews that much anymore. What I do is I simply study different products in order to figure out for myself which one is better. See author box for truthful details. Once you have been doing it for long enough you will easily be able to root out whether or not a product is going to be effective. I have done this mainly by checking the ingredients closely, very closely.
The Best Skin Care Brand Does Exist
The best skincare brand will stand out for the quality of its natural ingredients such as Phytessence Wakame, Babassu palm wax, or New Zealand Manuka active honey. These are the kinds of quality ingredients that a product should contain if it is to be effective. It is that easy. Look for the above type ingredients. You should be the "reviewer". Not someone who just wants to make a sale.
Reading skincare reviews is something that you don't want to involve yourself in if you want to know the truth about a product. Only when you try one yourself will you know if it really works.
