The turntable i am getting is Direct Drive. It says Full Manual Direct Drive Turntable. What is the Full Manual referring to?

So then Being manual is a good thing?
Fully Automatic = the turntable automatically puts the tone arm on the record at the beginning, and takes it off at the end (or when the "eject" lever/button is pushed). Often is also a record changer (stacks the records up on a tall spindle and plops each one down on the turntable one at a time after the tone arm has lifted up and out of the way). Not used as a professional turntable.
Semi Automatic = the turntable only takes the tone arm off the record at the end (usually also has an "eject" lever/button). The user puts the tone arm on the record. Rarely used as a pro turntable.
Fully Manual = the turntable leaves the tone arm alone, and the user puts it on the record and takes it off. Pro turntables are usually fully manual.
