NUMARK-PRO SOUND DJ-IN-A-BOX/02 Beginner DJ Turntable Package?
is this a good investment?
does it work good and everything?
The turntables are not as good as Technics 1200s, but many great DJs learned on far worse decks than those. If you check around you may be able to buy those decks or similar beginner DJ decks second-hand.
Are you sure you want to spin vinyl? The same money would get you the Numark computer DJ package. Records have some disadvantages. Heavy crates, dusty environments, hot sun on black vinyl, sketchy decks or cartridges supplied by promoter or other DJs, bouncy floors, feedback.

Finding DJ equipment is one of the most exciting parts of becoming a DJ. Hunting around for the best pieces of kit that you can find for your budget is actually quite enjoyable. Yes admittedly we would all like to be able to invest an infinite amount of money on getting the best equipment but this is not always possible.

The standard ways of saving money is to buy DJ equipment that is ex-display or B-stock.
