because those cds are like from a long time ago so how to the djs make music n beats?
dude check this out! star off slow. get a package like 2 turntables,mixer and speaker set. check amazon for set that will help you learn the basics. but once you get into it you will find out what you really need...
1. Tenchnics 1200's
2. Beringer mixer...cheap but very good
3. Serano scratch, or Final Scratch...you can use MP3 files with those programs...but you need a computer
4. Beringer studio speakers...awsome

Could you use technics sl qd33 for a dj turntable?
i dont know if it will work im trying to start my lil dj console i have a stanton mixer and stanton cd tabletops and i just bought the technics sl qd33 in a yard sale for $10..
thats a home stereo turntable not a dj turntable. your gonna spend more then that. I wouldn't pick this one up at all.
If I recall, the SL-QD33 is more of an audiophile type turntable (just for listening and not for DJ'ing). I don't believe it has a pitch control on it. You're pretty much toast without a pitch control.
If its simply for listening, go for it.
The ones you would most likely want to look into are used Technics SL-1200 MKII. Do a search on those and see what you come up with. u can find them and second handed
