Crosley Radio Turntables Does anyone know how to turn on a record player radio. (Picture included)? HELP QUICK!?
I can turn on the radio part but don't know how to get the record spinning. Here's a the basically the type I have although it doesn't transfer records to cd's if that helps.

Doesn't the record start up when you swing the arm out over the turntable? I've seen a few players with that style of turntable and that's normally how you start them up.
You lift the arm up with the lever, swing the arm out to the start of the record (the record should start spinning when you do this), and then lower it gently onto the record.
After the record has finished, the arm should lift and return to its rest if the player has a return mechanism fitted, otherwise you have to lift the lever and do it manually.
